The Engineering and Development Group LLC (EDGO) in Oman is more than 50% owned and fully managed by the EDGO Group.  The EDGO Group has operations in the USA, Europe and the Middle East and Africa.

EDGO Oman along with its subsidiaries Gulf Development Trading Enterprise LLC (GDTE), Arab Development Company (ADC), The Engineering Development Company LLC (EDC) and Power Technology Company LLC (PTC) have acted as contractors, and JV partners or agents for the various international manufacturers and suppliers of engineered equipment as well as contractors, consultants and engineering companies in Oman, operating in the Oil & Gas, and Power & Water sectors.  EDGO Oman and its subsidiaries have formed joint ventures with number of international companies serving the Oil & Gas industries in Oman.

Over the years EDGO Oman have, with its Principals, continuously supplied equipment and material to its Clients in Oman including Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO), Occidental of Oman Inc (Oxy), Oman Oil Company (OOC), Oman Gas Company (OGC), the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR), the Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) and others.

In addition to the strong relations we have built over the years with the various clients and principals, our involvement in the major projects in Oman has enhanced the trading business. One such example is our involvement in the LNG Upstream Project, where we assisted our Principal, Bechtel International in getting the job, which in turn maximized our Principals’ chances in securing business.

To focus on Project Development effectively, we have established a project development division within our Group to gather and process up-to-date and precise information on all project activities that are relevant to our Principals. Our ability to obtain and distribute information at the early stages has given our Principals the lead over the competition.

We feel that we are well placed in Oman, with the support of the EDGO Group with its network of offices throughout the World, and with our long history in Oman where we have operated since 1971.  This has enabled us to establish solid grounds which encouraged the international EPC Contractors to work with us in the different forms they see fit to their operations i.e. JV, Representation and partnership in the field of Engineering, Trading, Contracting and Manufacturing.
